Granite is self-custody wallet software. You control your keys. We do not custody funds, operate user accounts, or have a recovery backdoor.
Granite's native apps help you create, import, back up, and use Arweave-compatible wallets. The hosted web wallet is watch-only. Your private keys, passwords, keyfiles, and backup shares stay under your control. Granite cannot recover your wallet if you lose the credentials and recovery material required to unlock it.
Granite does not require an account, email address, phone number, identity profile, analytics identifier, or telemetry opt-in. We do not sell user data because we do not collect user data.
Using Granite requires interaction with public blockchain networks and third-party infrastructure, such as Arweave gateways, AO compute or messaging units, public price APIs, and GitHub Releases for desktop updates. Those services may see network-layer information such as your IP address and public on-chain data. Granite does not receive or aggregate that information.
Granite is software, not financial advice. You are responsible for deciding whether to use a token, protocol, gateway, or transaction, and for complying with laws that apply to you.
You are responsible for protecting your device, password, keyfile, hardware security keys, encrypted backups, and recovery shares. Malware, phishing, device compromise, lost backups, and user error can result in permanent loss of funds.
Granite is intended for publication under the MIT License; the current preview may be distributed before the source is published. Networks, gateways, APIs, and update services can be unavailable, delayed, incorrect, or discontinued. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to any third-party service.
If you find a security issue, please use a GitHub private security advisory. Granite does not currently publish a security mailbox. Please do not publicly disclose an active vulnerability before we have had a reasonable chance to investigate and fix it.
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Changes should preserve Granite's core promise: self-custody, no hidden data collection, and respect for the people using the app.
Portfolio links and QR codes contain public wallet addresses and display labels. Anyone with a shared portfolio can view those addresses and their public blockchain activity. Portfolio sharing does not transfer private keys, ownership, custody, or signing authority. You are responsible for choosing who receives a portfolio link.
